Mill Creek Wetlands 03062023
Mill Creek Wetlands preserve, also known as the Penny Creek wildlife preserve area, is a unique wetland among urban sprawls. Create as a mitigation area to more development this wetland covers roughly 58 acres of natural wetlands and urban filtration zones. A gravel path runs along the entire length of the biggest pond or lake easy to walk, not so much for handicapped visitors due to the gravel. But you'll see many types of birds and migrating duck. Usually, a few Great Blue Heron are residents, and river otters and beavers roam the wetlands. It's a nice place to visit and close to Mill Creek and Snohomish neighborhoods. Go Enjoy!
